Pater has written more than 250 articles for Safety+Health, Professional Safety, Occupational Health & Safety and other industry publications. His clients include ArcelorMittal, BHP Billiton, BMW, BP, Cummins, Domtar, DuPont, Hawaiian Airlines, HD Supply, Honda, Marathon Oil, Mead Westvaco, MSC Industrial, Nissan, Northrop Grumman, ONE Gas, Textron, United Airlines, U.S. Steel and more. Pater has presented/co-presented 33 previous webinars for ASSP. He has also written a regular column for Professional Safety for the past 10 years.
Anil Mathur, President and CEO if Alaska Tanker Co. (ATC) since 2001
ATC is the safest tanker company in the world. His career in operations include running operations in harsh, difficult environments. Mathur is the public director on ASSP's Board of Directors. In 2005, he was named a “CEO who gets it” by the National Safety Council, he received the ASSP President’s Award in 2011 and he was recognized by the AFL-CIO in 2013. Mathur has personal commendations from U.S. Senator Patty Murray (WA), Governor Walker (AK), Governor Gregoire (WA) and the Alaska state legislature. In addition, he received a Legacy Award from the North American Western States environmental regulators. Mathur has an M.S. in Engineering from the University of Tulsa and an M.B.A. from the University of California at Berkeley. He is an alumnus of the Harvard Business School.
