Donna S. Heidel, M.S., CIH, FAIHA
Donna S. Heidel, M.S., CIH, FAIHA is the worldwide principal industrial hygienist for Amazon. She is also president of the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA). Prior to joining Amazon, she was the technical director for industrial hygiene for Bureau Veritas North America; coordinated NIOISH’s Prevention Through Design program; and worked in the pharmaceutical industry, including 15 years at Johnson & Johnson as its worldwide director of industrial hygiene.
Lawrence D. Sloan, M.B.A., FASAE, CAE
Larry Sloan has been CEO of AIHA since October 2016. Prior to this, he was CEO of SOCMA, a trade association representing the U.S. specialty chemical industry. Sloan began his career as a chemical engineer at Air Products and later worked for Nalco Chemical Company in marketing, manufacturing and sales. Sloan has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
