Michael W. Hayslip Esq, PE, CSP
Michael is President and CEO of NESTI Inc. Since 1996 an OSHA and ANSI based safety training, mentoring and litigation support firm headquartered in Naples Florida. Michael began in the field as a surveyor, carpenter and pile driver over thirty years ago with the Heavy-Marine Division of J. A. Jones Construction Co. Michael has also worked as a draftsman, engineer, CPM scheduler, superintendent, project manager as well as corporate safety and risk director. Mike has worked for multiple delivery systems such as general contractor, subcontractor, design-builder and construction manager. Michael facilitated the lowering of a prior employer’s EMR from 1.32 to 0.41.
Michael is a national speaker, published author, adjunct professor, Arbitrator and Mediator; Michael serves on ANSI A10. He is a prior Board member and Vice President of the American Society of Safety Professionals (Region VII); and been appointed nationally to OSHA’s Advisory Council on Construction Safety and Health (ACCSH). Michael has received numerous Safety Professional of the Year awards from the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) on the local, state, regional and national levels.
